Mental Health Professionals tell us it’s all in our heads but we already debunked this myth when we did our talk: “Mental health: it’s not all in your head”.

We discussed the importance of many factors associated with mental health, including nutrition. For example, did you know that a deficiency in vitamin B1 is associated with anxiety, depression and irritability? What is also interesting is that a diet high in carbohydrates can deplete your vitamin B1 stores, making you feel more anxious!

There are many more things you can do to support your mental health when it comes to nutrition.
